We welcome students of all levels! Whether you are just beginning or are a seasoned expert looking to explore new areas of the craft, we offer a variety of classes, workshops, and special events to help you hone and expand your skills.
Class Policies: Please note that advanced payment is required to reserve your space in a class or workshop. You may cancel up to one week in advance for a full refund or store credit, or up to 48 hours in advance for store credit only. For multiple-part classes, please ensure that you are available for all sessions prior to booking as we cannot guarantee you space in subsequent classes. Anyone taking one of our classes is entitled A 10% discount off of your purchases on the day you complete a class or workshop.

BEGINNING KNITTING
In this two-part class, you will learn all the skills required to complete basic projects such as scarves, blankets, shawls, and ponchos.
Topics covered include reading yarn labels, understanding gauge, casting on, the knit stitch, the purl stitch, various stitch patterns, and binding off.
Class Duration: Two 2-hour sessions (Beginning Knitting A and B) held one week apart for a total of 4 hours.
The course is $75.00, which includes all materials. Students are entitled to a 10% discount on all purchases and a free beverage from the café upon graduation!
Class size limited to 8 students.
Class Times: Tuesdays from 12:00 – 2:00 pm, Wednesdays from 7:00 – 9:00 pm, or Saturdays from 12:00 – 2:00 pm
BEGINNING CROCHET
In this two-part class, you will learn all the skills required to complete basic projects such as scarves, blankets, shawls, and ponchos.
Topics covered include reading yarn labels, understanding gauge, making the crochet chain, the four basic crochet stitches (single crochet, half double crochet, double crochet, and triple crochet), crocheting in the round as well as some simple shapes.
The course is $75.00, which includes all materials. Students are entitled to a 10% discount on all purchases and a free beverage from the café upon graduation!
Class size limited to 8 students.
Class Times: Thursdays from 7:00 – 9:00 pm, or Sundays from 3:00 – 5:00 pm
PROJECT KNITTING/CROCHET
In Project Knitting/Crochet, students can select their own project and work on it under the supervision of one of our seasoned teachers.

This is a group class, but start times are staggered so that each student receives individual attention at the beginning of their session. Basic knitting and/or crocheting skills required.
Project classes are $40.00 for a single 2-hour session, or $125.00 for a package of 4 sessions (sessions do not have to be used consecutively).
Students may bring their own materials or purchase them at the shop at a 10% discount on the day of the class.
Class Times: Wednesdays at 11:30, 12:00, 12:30, or 1:00 and Saturdays at 3:00, 3:30, 4:00 or 4:30
ONE-HOUR TECHNIQUE CLASSES
Description: These "bite sized" technique classes are designed for knitters who have mastered the basic stitches and are looking for ways to expand their skills. Topics have included knitting in the round, pattern reading, cables & arans, short rows, entrelac, and many more.
Technique Classes are $25.00 for a single session, or $100.00 for a package of any 5 sessions (sessions do not have to be used consecutively). Students should bring their own materials, which can also be purchased at the shop at a 10% discount on the day of the class.
Class size limited to 8 students.
Class Times: Tuesdays and Fridays from 7:00 - 8:00 pm.
CHILDREN’S KNITTING CLASSES
Our children’s course covers the same fundamentals taught in our beginning knitting course, but with smaller class sizes and spread out over three (rather than two) weekly classes. Our instructors have specific experience teaching children, and extra emphasis is placed on completing multiple projects during the course.
The course is $75.00. All class materials are provided, including a children’s instructional book with patterns.
Class size limited to 6 students.
Class Times: Tuesdays from 4:00 – 5:30 pm
ADVANCED BEGINNING KNITTING CLASS
Duration: 2-hours Class Description: After this single session class, the possibilities are endless! You will learn multiple ways to increase and decrease as well as preliminary pattern reading. Skill Level: You will need to know how to cast on, knit, and purl in order to take this class. Class Size: Limited to 8 students Materials: To be provided Cost: $50.00
PRIVATE/SEMI-PRIVATE CLASSES
We offer private and semi-private classes for students who would like one-on-one instruction or prefer to schedule classes at different times than we offer.
Private lessons are $60 per hour for a single student or $100.00 per hour for semi-private sessions ($50.00 per student). Students may bring their own materials or purchase them at the shop at a 10% discount on the day of the class.

TECHNIQUE CLASSES
Class Duration: 1 hour
Class Description: We will be offering "bite sized" one hour technique classes designed for knitters who have mastered the basic stitches and are looking for ways to expand their skills. These classes will be technique rather than project driven, but at the end of each class we will suggest project ideas that utilize the skills you just learned.
Class Size: Limited to 8 students
Materials: Each individual class will determine what materials are needed
